How to know if you have a leak

Common indications of a leaking tank:

• Petroleum odors in drinking water
• Petroleum odors in basement or crawlspace
• Increased fuel consumption
• Frequent furnace misfires
• Water in the fuel
• Frequent service calls
• Dead or dying vegetation near the tank
• Oily sheen on soils or standing water

*Some tanks leak with no observable indication.
